Aurora St. Luke's Digestive Health Second Opinion Program
Since 1996, patients in need of gastrointestinal treatment have made Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center the leading hospital in Wisconsin for digestive health services.
If you've exhausted your local resources trying to solve a difficult GI problem, contact our Digestive Health Second Opinion Program.
We've assembled a panel of expert physicians to confer with you on your most challenging cases:
- General surgeons
- Medical oncologists
- Radiation oncologists
How the program works
Simply call our dedicated number, toll-free at 877-222-0657 or 414-649-5725. We will discuss with you your patient's condition, gather basic information and then contact an appropriate Second Opinion Program specialist. That physician will serve as the coordinating physician for your case.
This physician will review the case and meet with your patient within 48 hours of your call (unless the patient's schedule prohibits). Afterwards, the coordinating physician will present the case to our panel of experts during the group's weekly case review conference. A recommendation will be provided to you within a day of the conference.
