Pharmacy Residency Program
At Aurora Health Care, Wisconsin's largest not-for-profit health care system, pharmacy residents have the unique opportunity to grow as pharmacists, researchers and educators in their location and program of choice.
With several primary training sites and many different training programs from which to choose, caregivers completing pharmacy residency programs offered within the Aurora Health Care organization gain the best of both worlds: the abundant resources of a dynamic, fully integrated health care system, plus the ability to customize your residency experience based on your individual needs and interests.
For more than 20 years, Aurora's combination of dedicated preceptors, hands-on training and professional development opportunities has helped residents sharpen their clinical pharmacy skills, earn valuable professional experience and take their career to the next level.
Our vibrant, diverse training locations for residents include Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center and Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI, Aurora West Allis Medical Center in West Allis, WI, Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI, and Aurora Specialty Pharmacy in the Metro Milwaukee area, with additional opportunities to experience pharmacy practice within Aurora's multitude of hospitals, clinics, retail pharmacies, specialty services, and more.
As a resident in one of our PGY1 or PGY2 programs in pharmacy, community pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, administration, critical care, informatics, cardiology, oncology and infectious diseases, you will be fully involved in medication-related care and expertise – making decisions, offering opinions, honing skills, and sharing and acquiring knowledge.
Challenging and ever-changing, the pharmacy residency programs offered within Aurora are an exceptional choice for aspiring pharmacists of all backgrounds who wish to become competent, caring and well-rounded pharmacists in any pharmacy setting.
