Aurora Health Care is the largest not-for-profit, integrated health care delivery system in the state of Wisconsin. It is a growing, vibrant organization dedicated to serving the health care needs of people living in eastern Wisconsin, northern Illinois, and world-wide. Aurora Health Care encompasses 15 hospitals, numerous ambulatory diagnostic and treatment centers, home health care and social services agencies, physician clinics, retail pharmacies, and more. Aurora's mission is to promote health, prevent illness, and provide state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment, whenever and wherever we can best meet people's individual and family needs.
Because Aurora Health Care is a large organization, we offer our residents a unique opportunity to choose a primary site of training at either Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center or Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, Aurora West Allis Medical Center in West Allis, or Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. In addition, residents have the opportunity to practice pharmacy at many other sites and clinics affiliated with their practice site.
The pharmacy residency programs conducted at sites within Aurora Health Care are designed to make the most of your pharmacy education. Our explicit goal is to fill the resident program with clinical and professional challenges, providing our residents the experience needed to become well rounded, competent, and caring pharmacists. To achieve this, our residency programs offer diverse opportunities. As a resident, you will be fully involved in pharmaceutical care – making decisions, offering opinions, honing skills, sharing and acquiring knowledge.
