Family Medicine Residency Program

The Aurora Family Medicine Residency Program, established in 1974, has a long history of providing exceptional educational experiences and instruction for family physicians. Upon graduation, our residents practice within a wide range of communities across the country, from rural America to major metropolitan areas. The program will provide training which meets all of the requirements as set forth in the Essentials of Accredited Residencies by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). This residency excels in preventive and community medicine, sports medicine, women's health, in-patient services, geriatrics and research. It is dually certified (allopathic/osteopathic), allowing osteopathic residents to become certified through the American Osteopathic Association, and providing all of our residents with opportunities to learn and practice manipulation techniques.
