FIRSTHAND PATIENT CARE
A Common Thread
- Programs designed for full involvement
- Variety of settings, regardless of residency
- Family Medicine
- Diagnostic Radiology
- Transitional Residency
- Internal Medicine
Although both Aurora St. Luke's and Aurora Sinai Medical Centers offer diverse opportunities to the physician in training, all residency programs share one commonality: as a resident, you will be fully involved in patient care – making decisions, offering opinions, honing skills, sharing and acquiring knowledge. You will practice medicine and learn in a wide variety of settings and across disciplines.
As an Aurora Health Care resident, Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center (for Family Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology and Transitional Residency) or Aurora Sinai Medical Center (for Internal Medicine and Obstetrics/Gynecology) will be your primary site of training. However, you have the opportunity for cross-campus training rotations at other sites and clinics in the communities we serve. We strongly believe that community-based training programs offer residents an excellent opportunity to train in a "real-life" environment that better prepares you to practice in today's complex medical marketplace. Both of our residency training sites offer a variety of programs and distinct opportunities.
